Looking Forwards
Birmingham City continued to tighten their hold on midtable security with a 1-1 draw against Leeds United at the weekend. It could have been all three points but for Luke Murphy’s late equaliser for the home side but the result sees Blues lie 11th, just nine points off the playoff places.

Revolutions and Civil Wars
The Rowett Revolution carries on apace with Blues picking up another three points at the weekend courtesy of a well fought 1-0 win over Huddersfield. David Cotterill scored the winner with a free kick that left Huddersfield keeper Alex Smithies grasping at thin air to propel Blues up to fifteenth in the table, equidistant between the playoffs and relegation.

Who is Wang Li?
The ownership of the football club took another twist yesterday when it was disclosed to the HKSE that Yang Yuezhou has cashed out his interest in 4.86 billion conversion shares to leave him with a tiny remaining stake in the club (0.28%). What is concerning is who he has sold his stake to – and just what that means for the club.
