The EGM: More Boardroom tussles

Birmingham International Holdings have issued a statement to the stock exchange to confirm that they have received notice that the “EGM” was held, and that a “meeting” has been convened with the intention of taking the legal steps necessary to remove the receivers.

BIH: Massive Directoral Change – Pannu Removed, Panos Resigns

Birmingham International Holdings have announced to the stock exchange changes at board level that see seven directors resign including Panos Pavlakis, two suspended and two removed, including Peter Pannu. The new board consists of the receivers alone – however Panos and Victor Ma remain directors at club level.

BIH Debunk Carson’s Claim, Hearing Cancelled

Birmingham International Holdings have confirmed to the HKSE today that owing to errors made by Carson Yeung’s legal team, there will be no hearing on May 6 to hear his application against the company and that it has been thrown out by the Judge.

Carson Yeung Sues to Prevent Sale of BCFC

Lawyers representing Carson Yeung were in court today trying to force through an EGM requested by the former hairdresser of Birmingham International Holdings in his capacity as largest shareholder and to prevent the immediate sale of Birmingham City.

Birmingham International Holdings have confirmed to the Stock Exchange today that they have had five conditions laid upon them prior to the shares being relisted on the main board.

BIH Name Victor Ma Shui-Cheong as CEO and MD

Birmingham International Holdings have today confirmed that Victor Ma Shui-Cheong has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company, effective today.

Auditors Withdraw Their Report and Deny Allegations

In an increasingly bizarre twist, Birmingham International Holdings have ben forced to announce to the stock exchange that their former auditors, JH CPA Alliance have written to the company to withdraw it’s auditor’s report from the last available set of accounts.

Man Arrested In Connection With Misappopriated HK$30M

News has broken in the last hour that a 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged misappropriation of above HK$30M in Hong Kong. This follows an announcement made to the stock exchange yesterday that BIH had reported the matter to the police.

Former Employee of BIH Suspected of Stealing £2.5Million

Birmingham International Holdings have today announced to the Stock Market that a former employee may have misappropriated in excess of HK$30million (£2.55M) from the company since December 2013.
