June so far has been a very frustrating month. With so little action in B9 it’s almost impossible to talk about players coming in – and what rumours there have been seem to have been met with massive amounts of ambivalence due to the perceived quality of incoming players.

Tumbleweed…

It’s all gone very quiet at St Andrew’s hasn’t it? While Blatter has said that he will (eventually) fall on his sword at FIFA, Blackpool convince another fall guy that he can be the saviour at Bloomfield Road and Lee Clark has thrown his hat in the ring for the Newcastle United job, it’s nothing but tumbleweed in B9.

Cover for the sake of it

Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett has confirmed that the injury to Michael Morrison may not be as bad as first feared, and although the former Charlton vice-captain will not be able return immediately he should be back in action sooner rather than later.

Never Say Never

Transfer deadline day is upon us and rumours are starting to reach fever pitch over who will come in and who will leave St Andrews. The window closes for permanent transfers at 11pm with the emergency window open a week later for short term loans.
