“Unbelievably Complicated”
It’s now one week since the self-imposed deadline of three weeks due diligence has elapsed, and Birmingham City seem no closer to having new investment. Although there can be announcements on the HKSE until 11pm HKT (4pm BST), it does seem unlikely that there will be any major announcement today as there has been no halt called on trading of shares.

The 18-year-old has yet to play for the first team but was a regular in the u21 side and made 12 appearances on loan for Skrill North side Oxford City at the end of last season.

Momentum and Change
Judging by the way my twitter feed exploded yesterday after the announcement made by Peter Pannu and Birmingham City there are a lot of fans who want to know just who is behind this British/North American consortium who are in negotiations for the club – which if one considers the protracted nature of the sale of the club is understandable.

News Round-up
Blues have been linked to 29-year-old Swedish defender Markus Holgersson according to Sky Sports News. Holgersson made a solitary substitute appearance for Wigan last season after signing on a short term deal in February and his contract wasn’t renewed. His previous career saw him play for New York Red Bulls in MLS for two seasons and he won the treble in Sweden with Helsingborgs in 2011.
