Blackpool Bound
As the month of April draws to a close so to does the Championship season with all that is left to be decided being the playoffs. It’s the business end of the season as far as Blues concerned with the prize being a trip to Wembley, a day of emotion and hope and for the winners, a hefty wad of money from Premier League participation next year. Will Blues do it?

Delayed Accounts – the OP Perspective
So, it’s been announced that the accounts for the period ending June 30 for Birmingham International Holdings Ltd, parent company of Blues have once again been delayed – this time until July 31 at the latest. All I’ve seen online today is people speculating about what it means and what will happen. Here’s my take on things.

A Royally Dead Rubber? Reading Preview
Tomorrow sees the final game of the league campaign proper and it’s Champions Reading who will be entertained at St Andrews. Blues will be looking for a win to try to secure 4th spot but will have a tough game against a team that has forgotten how to lose.

Financial Fair Play and Blues
The Football League yesterday announced that they were going to implement Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations to the Championship as they look to make the division a fairer playing field and to clamp down on irresponsible ownership of football clubs.
