Talking Points sponsored by John Hicken Industrial roofing and cladding materials

As we enter the last day of the Summer 2012 transfer window the never-ending saga of Nikola Zigic leaving for pastures new is still going. For the last three transfer windows there have been rumours and whispers that Nikola was moving on, with nothing coming to fruition. Will today be any different?

Must Win Game?

Talking Points sponsored by John Hicken Industrial roofing and cladding materials

Before the season started, I didn’t envisage that Blues would have a must win game by the first of September, but it does seem that it is that way. Big Win For Young Blues – Professional Development League Report vs Huddersfield Town

A cold St Andrews saw Birmingham City’s development squad comprehensively beat Huddersfield Town in their first home fixture of the Premier Development League. Blues however had a man of the match performance from goalkeeper Nick Townsend to thank as he made several saves to keep the Terriers out in the second half before Akwasi Asante made it safe.

Gossip Folks – The Transfer Rumour Mill (Summer 2012 Edition) Part VI

Whilst there have been no actual transfers into or out of St Andrews, there has been quite a bit of speculation over the last week concerning Blues players. The English transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday, as does the transfer window in Spain – which is important to bear in mind with all the stuff about Zigic over the last few days.
