Vico Hui

Friday round-up

Whilst we have a brief pause between a hectic run of games, I thought I’d take a look around what is happening and do a brief round up article of news.

Dared to Dream

As I alighted from the bus on the way to the game yesterday, I saw a couple of lads selling blue scarves with “Carson Out” emblazoned on them in bright red writing outside the Royal George pub. I counted four held aloft in the Tilton whilst people were singing about not caring about Carson, so evidently people bought them – but I have to ask a single question – why?

Ordos

Whilst Blues have been slogging hard on the football pitch, Carson has done it again. As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, he’s been chasing deals within the People’s Republic of China, to expand the “Birmingham” brand name and to bring in more money for the club. This time, it was representatives from the city of Ordos which is in the Inner Mongolia province of China who Carson entertained on a private yacht in Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong.
