The Second Coming of Nathan Redmond

Talking Points sponsored by John Hicken Industrial roofing and cladding materials

After being thought of by many as the second coming of the messiah and the greatest Blues prospect since TF himself, October hasn’t been the best month for Nathan Redmond. Zero starts, three games as unused sub and three games where he’s missed out on the matchday squad entirely point to a player who is very much back on the fringes of the squad.

Boyfriends and Football

Talking Points sponsored by John Hicken Industrial roofing and cladding materials

One of the few times the Tilton was in full voice during yesterday’s game against Brighton and Hove Albion was to mockingly ask the Brighton fans if their male spouses were aware of their presence at the football. Whilst for some it’s just a terrace chant, it raises the spectre of homophobia for others and I thought it would be worth talking about.

Can Blues Stop the Seagulls to Make it Seven? Brighton Preview

It’s been some time since we last played Brighton and Hove Albion – sixteen years in fact since the last league meeting – and both sides have gone through some changes in that time. Coach Trip to Braga v Blues – only £99

With Blues having won both of their away group games in the Europa League, I’ve noticed that there is now a fair bit of interest in our final group game against SC Braga on 30 November. Whilst flying to the game may well be the quickest way for people to travel to the game flight prices are going up and I’m pleased to be able to help offer Blues fans an alternative.

If it ain’t broke…

Having seen an e-petition doing the rounds on a couple of messageboards along with some talk on twitter, I thought I’d write about people demanding that the BCFC board give Chris Hughton a longer contract. I’ve already given reasons for my opposition briefly elsewhere, but I wanted to expound on that further.
