Blues Convincingly Win First Friendly
Birmingham City were 3-1 victors in their first pre-season friendly against Solihull Moors at the Automated Technology Group Stadium last night. A brace from Clayton Donaldson and a close range finish from Diego Fabbrini in the first half took the game away from the hosts who replied in the second with a good finish from one of their seven trialists.

Donaldson Scores in Surprise Jamaica Win
Clayton Donaldson was on the scoresheet as Jamaica surprised Chile 2-1 in their Copa America Centenario warmup game in Vina del Mar. The Bradford-born striker scored the first goal of the game from a Garath McLeary cross as the Reggae Boyz stunned the Copa America holders.

Clayton Donaldson called up for Copa America
Jamaica coach Winfried Schafer has named Blues striker Clayton Donaldson in his provisional 40-man squad for the Copa America. The tournament, which is in it’s 100th year will be held for the first time outside South America with the hosts being the USA.

Leeds Reflections
Blues streak of recent poor form at home continued with a 2-1 defeat to a Leeds side that finished with ten men after Alex Mowatt was sent off in injury time. Stuart Dallas scored either side of half time to give Steve Evans’ men a 2-0 lead, with Clayton Donaldson scoring Blues’ reply.
