Pablo Ibanez
Curtis or Pablo?

Lee Clark was forced into making changes for the Peterborough United game due to injuries – particularly in defence where Curtis Davies missed out and Pablo Ibanez took his place. Curtis could well be fit for the trip to Forest on Saturday – should he play?

The Zigic Saga Goes On

As we enter the last day of the Summer 2012 transfer window the never-ending saga of Nikola Zigic leaving for pastures new is still going. For the last three transfer windows there have been rumours and whispers that Nikola was moving on, with nothing coming to fruition. Will today be any different?

Blues To Bounce Back At The Ricoh? Capital One Cup 2nd Round Preview v Coventry

After the disappointment of the performance on Saturday Blues need to pick themselves up for their trip to the Ricoh Stadium to play Coventry in the second round of the Capital One Cup. Coventry are no strangers to crises either – overdue rent on their ground, a manager sacked after three successive league draws and a financial headache that makes Blues look positively well-run.

Right Back To The Drawing Board?

There was an interesting thread on smallheathalliance.com concerning the issue Blues have surrounding the right-slot. With Stephen Carr not likely to make the game, Jonathan Spector out for a while yet and now Will Packwood having picked up an injury which way do Blues go?

The End of the Road?

Normally when I when I write these previews I look at statistical sequences, injuries and what-not and write a factual piece. However, we already know a bit about Blackpool – we’ve played them three times this season, including on Friday night – so I’m going to skip all that and tell you how I think Blues can win the tie.

Battle of the BCFCs: Bristol City Preview

Saturday sees Derek McInnes bring his Bristol City side to St Andrews looking to secure Championship football for the Robins next term against Blues. Chris Hughton knows that Blues are now virtually assured of a playoff place but will no doubt want to win this game to continue the fine form and momentum into the playoffs.
