Where’s Valles?

Some time back on a messageboard not too far away, there was a bit of an in-joke made about players being in the squad, but never anywhere near the team – as if they were locked in a cupboard somewhere. The original joke named it the “Jamie Clapham” cupboard, after the erstwhile leftback, but I think we’ve got a new occupant and a new updated name for a sad old joke – Enric Valles.

Letting Go Of Ol’ Faithful Ferguson

So, it would appear the next player through the St Andrews exit door could be 33 year old Scottish midfielder Barry Ferguson. Whilst Chris Hughton hasn’t yet sorted his backroom staff out fully, with the captures of Rooney and Caldwell there is a feeling that he’s getting down to business.

Transfer window update

Firstly, transfers: Probables: David Bentley – the winger, signed by Spurs for £15mil in the summer of 2008 has, according to various media […]

Y Viva España

After noticing Miguel Marcos Madera (Michel to his friends) wasn’t in the eighteen against Blackpool, (the third successive occasion that this has happened) I came to the conclusion that Michel is most probably on his way out of the club. It led me to thinking about Borja Oubiña, amongst others – and the thought struck […]
