Goals, Goals, Goals? BCFC v Peterborough preview

Match previews sponsored by EZE Group - Lifestyle Experts

Tomorrow sees the return of the Championship to St Andrews with the visit of Peterborough United. It’ll have been three weeks since the last home league game and sixteen days since the thrilling draw against Club Brugge, so I suspect I won’t be the only fan chomping at the bit to watch Blues in action again.

… and we’re back

Having been away for a week, I’ve got a lot to catch up on Blues wise, and I think it would be unfair to go back over the last seven days and try and blog stuff about things that have happened. Four weeks to go

It’s now just four weeks until the season starts, and despite some crazy off field problems the team is starting to take shape at St Andrews. Whilst Chris Hughton hasn’t yet sorted his backroom staff out fully, with the captures of Rooney and Caldwell there is a feeling that he’s getting down to business.

Adam Rooney

In all the furore of Carson-gate last week, the Bosman free signing of Adam Rooney from Scottish Premier League outfit Inverness Caledonian Thistle almost passed by unnoticed. Whilst it’s not his namesake Wayne, I have a suspicion that this could be a very shrewd first signing by new Blues manager Chris Hughton.
